Moye Gives Back!

Fundraising is only a small part of what the PTO does. In fact, one of the reasons we raise money is to “give back”so to speak to our school and our community.

For our students, the PTO helps funds programs such as Character Education, Red Ribbon Week, Read and Run Marathon, Get Smart with Art, Reading Counts, and Kids Of Character. We help provide magazine subscriptions to the classrooms, buses for field trips, materials for the 5th Grade Project and water, plates and napkins for class parties.

For our school, the PTO has helped purchase supplies and learning resources for the classrooms and stocked the library with books. The PTO has provided funds to build an outdoor classroom, purchased playground equipment, built a kick wall and most recently, a walking trail. And let's not forget, Spring Fling is offered to our Moye Community as a thank you with all Moye students receiving complimentary armbands.

For our community, we hold an annual Food Drive and sponsor a Kid's Care Campaign to raise donations for the American Heart Association, Juvenile Arthritis Foundation, O'Fallon Food Pantry. Our annual Cold Hands/Warm Hearts program provides mittens, gloves and hats to those in need. Our Lunch time recycling program helps teach kids to protect our environment.
