Moye PTO Frequently Asked Questions
When and where are the PTO meetings?
The PTO meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month. The meetings start at 6:30 and they are held in the library.
Is childcare provided at the PTO meetings?
Childcare is provided at each PTO meeting for children who are potty trained and at least three years old.
Why does the PTO continue to sell Entertainment Books?
Entertainment books are sold at the beginning of each school year. On average the PTO makes between $2,500 and $3,000 each year from selling these books. This is a great way to provide funds to the PTO at the start of the year. Students do not have to participate in this fundraiser. If you are not interested in purchasing a book just return the book to school. The PTO also does not encourage door-to-door selling.
This year the Entertainment Book representative has combined all of the O’Fallon District 90 schools into one group rather than each school being a single group. By doing this, Entertainment Books is giving all of the schools an excellent opportunity to make $15 per book (if 1000 books are sold) versus $9 per book as has been done in the past. This gives us the chance to almost double our profit.
How do I find out information about the PTO?
