Every quarter, the class with the most ink cartridges will be rewarded with a snack break, compliments of our PTO. Please join our efforts and send in your cartridges!

Milk Carton Recycling
A lesson in environmental responsibility
By Mark Raeber - Progress Staff Writer
The students at Delores Moye Elementary School in O’Fallon are learning a lesson in environmental responsibility while helping reduce the amount of waste they discard at lunch through a new recycling program introduced this month.
The program, which currently focuses on recycling the milk and juice cartons students in the past have discarded as trash, was introduced to the school through the efforts of parent Tanya Scherschel.
“This is a program I have very much wanted to see at the school.” she said. “And last year our PTO board had some additional money so I asked about starting one.”
