A farewell from Our President, Julie Jones-Kloeckner . . .

I can’t believe it’s come to an end...the school year, my PTO involvement, and my time at Moye. I think this is what one would call bittersweet.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of the PTO. With each year, our PTO has grown. The events we offer, the programs we fund, the supplies we purchase and the lives we touch. The energy put forth toward our school is immense; the rewards are hard to put into words. I’m the lucky one who gets to hear many of the “thank you’s” offered. I’m the lucky one who sees many of the smiles and I’m the lucky one who, thanks to this PTO can walk through the school and say hello to many children by name and look forward to the hugs and high-fives they have for me.

Thanks also for all of the help you have offered to me over the years. At almost every membership meeting, I mention how great our volunteers at Moye are. Anytime help was needed, all I have ever had to do was ask. We, as a team, invariably filled the need.

I’m thankful as well to have had the pleasure to have met so many people in our Moye community. I often hear comments to the effect of how I must know everyone at Moye. Obviously that’s not entirely true but I have indeed met and formed friendships that I hope will last for many years to come because of my involvement with our PTO.

Of course, not every decision I supported or every idea I presented was always liked by everyone. And, for that matter I certainly wasn’t liked by everyone. But I hope each of you know that while at Moye, I gave my all to the PTO. I did everything with the best of intentions, with an open mind and an open heart. My mind is full of fond memories and my heart full of wonderful people. May each of you be as blessed in your volunteerism as I have been in mine. Best wishes!

Thank you Julie for all you have done to enrich the Moye PTO and kids. You always kept children first in every decision. We wish you the best as you and your family graduate on to Carriel.
